Prasuti Tantra is a branch of medical science that focuses on the process of labor. Childbirth is a blessing to a women given from God. Mudhagarbha (Obstructed Labour) where the Garbha (fetus) becomes stuck in the birth canal which cause cessation of labour progress due to fetal malpresentation, size, or maternal pelvic issues. Obstructed labor is a significant factor contributing to maternal and infant mortality. This study sheds light on the details regarding the etiology, pathology, classifications, complications, and treatment of Mudhagarbha according to both medical sciences.
